On the one hand, this album reflects the soft, gentle side of The Body In Question. However, Stygian Symphony could easily be the hellish soundtrack one hears immediately after death, as the soul tumbles headlong into its dark night. Each piece in this collection was improvised and recorded live. However, a wee bit of production tweaking may have been added after the fact.
